JOMON

Jomon is a technique that was developed based on Kazuko Kuratomi’s need to reinforce and maintain her own energy and health even better. She was inspired to look for and create the self-healing exercises of Jomon when she was on a long trip alone, without anyone to support her when she was stretching. The Jomon exercises combine empowering resting positions with effective stretches, often with rotations, bends and presses. The Jomon exercises can easily be integrated into Shindo. Your instructor or partner can also help and intensify the Jomon exercises with a supporting grip.
